How it works the electronic keypad for electric locks

From a technical point of view, the GuestKey door opener keypad for electric locks looks like a normal numeric keypad with large keys. It can be installed in the 503 electrical boxes.
The keyboard is equipped with a Flashing red LED, so as to be visible even in low light conditions. When entering the code, the color of the LED changes to green. At that point the keyboard emits a small beep. The door unlocks, the utilities are activated and the guest can enter the room.

RESERVED AREA

From a technical point of view, access codes are created by accessing your facility's profile on the platform RESERVED AREA of our site www.guestkey.it. Once you enter the area Login , you will find yourself in front of the screen with the list of all the rooms. By selecting a room, and entering the number of days of stay required, the seven-digit code will be created: which must be sent to the guest.
All of this can be done from any computer or smartphone, without the need to be physically present in the facility.

HOST MANAGEMENT

• The owner of the B & B, will have a unique programming code, it will not be modifiable. This code also works as a PASSPARTOUT (the factory owner code is the following *5 digits), it will be able to open all the doors of the structure and activate the electrical services.
• The owner by connecting to the site guestkey.it/doors/ will generate the codes to send to the customer. The manager sends the generated codes to the guest by email or WhatsApp. You see Manage access.
• The maid it will have a unique PASSPARTOUT code (by default the waitress code is the following *5 digits) for all the doors of the hotel. This code can be changed (by the owner) which is very useful if the service staff changes!!

Energy saving.  When the maid comes in to tidy up the room, even if the customer has finished his stay, the electrical utilities will be activated for 2 hours. But if you want to turn off the power before the two hours are up, all you have to do is for the waitress to press any key.

The client

• The customer, arriving at the facility and typing the codes received via WhatsApp or email, will open the door into the electronic keypad, at the same time all the services will be activated in the room (lighting, air conditioning, etc.).
• At the end of the stay, the door opening codes will no longer work and all services will be automatically disabled. The time code will only open the booked room for the set time and will activate the room's power supply (for the set time).
